Regular Cooper Clubman (not an S), chocolate body, black roof, chrome mirrors. ...

I've got this on order but keep going back and forth on the roof color, whether I should have gone with a chocolate roof. In the end I went with black because I've always loved the contrasting roofs, but I wonder if the black roof - specifically considering how long the roof is on clubbies - darkens the car too much when paired with the chocolate, making it too 'serious,' which Mini's aren't really supposed to be.

I've seen plenty of pics of Clubman Ss with the chocolate/black/chrome combo, but I'm curious to see how the chrome grill/mirrors look on a regular Cooper model when paired with the chocolate/brown combo.

I have the chrome mirrors on my laser blue and they look awesome! They really brighten up the exterior a lot. I also went with a black roof and it blends nicely with the rear pillars, which I wanted to do because they just stand out so much. It works much better with the black roof. You can look in my gallery for pics.

 

This isn't exactly what you're looking for, but it might help.

At the following link is a HCC with brown roof and chrome mirrors, but it is an S, so there isn't a chrome grill.

There's lovely choc/black in the NAM Flickr pool but it doesn't have the chrome mirrors.

 

I'm going for the HC/Black look too but in the S. Classy but not too conventional. I like the chrome mirrors. I'd not thought of that until I checked out the pic above.
