I want to get stripes for my yellow and white cooper, but I am undecided on the color scheme to use. I am considering using white on the hood and rear and yellow on the hood, all with a thin black outline. Probably the straight lines going down the middle. Any pics of stripes on this color car?

Let me understand...you want white stripes w/ black pinstrips on your yellow bonnet and boot, and yellow stripes w/ black pinstripes on the white roof?? I'm not sure I've seen this, but it would look really great. Are you considering sport stripes (double stripe centered down bonnet, roof, and boot)?

 

Yea, that's what I'm considering. the sport stripes. I've seen lots of stripes on yellow and black coopers, but none on yellow and white. Although I would like to see pictures of any stripe combos on this color car.

I would like the tire track sport stripes, but I think it may look bad in yellow and white.

 

I have seen similar contrasting stripe arrangements on a Chili Red/White and an Indi Blue/White MINI and they looked quite good. I think the addition of the pinstripe would really make it pop on Liquid Yellow. The trick might be getting the yellow roof stripe to match the Liquid Yellow body color, but I'm sure this could be done.

I have yellow/white with bonnet stripes, but no pics as of right now. I will post a couple as soon as I can take a couple of shots. Its a busy week, so give me some time...maybe to the weekend depending on how much work sucks out of me this week

I'm definitely going with the white with pinstripes! Now to decide on bonnet stripes or sport stripes with yellow on the roof!

 

If you have a Cooper, then I suggest sport stripes. This would make for the most logical way to include those nice bold roof stipes as the stripes all run right down the center of the car. Looks great on the boot, too, imo. The only trick to figure out would be working around the fore and aft MINI logo badges. MINI sport stripes cut around the badges which I think looks fine. Some have actually removed the logos and replaced them, which looks great but may be more than you want to, or need to, tackle.
