Clubman Cargo Dimensions?

Does anyone have the actual linear dimensions of the Clubman cargo space, with rear seats up and down? I am specifically interested in if 4 "roll-aboard" suitcases would fit upright in the back along with 4 passengers. I can easily find the total cubic space for cargo, but that is less useful to me than the linear measurements.

How tall are the cases? I'll willingly measure for you but the doors aren't vertical so I think the distance from the rear seat backs at the appropriate height to the doors will be most useful to you. But ...

The typical "standard" roll-aboard case is about 22in x 14in x 10in (600mm x 350mm x 250mm). It would be great if there was at least 14in of clearance to about 22in high, and at least 44in of width so they could all stack together. Thanks for taking a look! It will be great if we can take the Clubman on trips instead of the Volvo- saves on gas, and _way_ easier to park!

You have no problem with the 14in @ 22in on the flat load floor if you don't use the parcel shelf - or you can get to about 21 1/2in under the parcel shelf if you remove the extra floor.

Width may be a problem though as you'll only have 32in between the tops of the rear suspension towers,

(I didn't bother to measure with the rear seats in the vertical position as your passengers wouldn't enjoy the experience on a trip in that configuration! )

Height is fine, about 16" to top of cargo cover screen or 18" to top of head rest from removable floor cover, more if you take that out).

Depth is fine (just barely) --from inside back of door to back of back seat carry ons fit if standing upright (the 14" direction on case). The depth actually varies--the 2 'outside' positions above wheels have just enough room for this while in the center it is 20-22" (the back seat slants so 22" at base to inside of door but only 20" when measured up a few inches).

Width is the problem, the wheel wells bulge in so from left well to right well is 32" measured along back of rear seat, but is 40" measured along inside of barn doors.

3 of the bags fit with extra room. I think 4 will only fit if 2 are soft sided (like my JanSport 'EuroSak') and you stack them on their backs in the center flanked by the other 2 standing upright.

I only have 2 bags so can't test it fully.

If you're willing to loss visibility all four will fit. (3 stacked, and 1 upright)

Wow! Thanks! That is great info, and great news, too- my kids both have soft-sided roll-aboards from LL Bean that should +"squish" enough to fit! It looks like they will all fit under the cargo cover, too! How cool is that?

Thanks for doing the test, everyone! The Clubman continues to amaze (and it is getting harder every day to wait!)

Sorry to jump in here, but I need similar information; if someone is willing?

What is the interior dimension near the headliner from the windshield to the rear doors?

Thanks!

With the rear seats down, I recently fit four of my three by four foot paintings in the rear with no problem, but that is about the limit. I could have probably fit a few more too. I had to put them in diagonally, but they fit just fine. It would be nice if the width was an even 36", but 32" was just right for what I needed. I also did not have to move the front seats up at all which really surprised me! I love this car more every day! I have only one small complaint that I can live with though. I am constantly going into reverse instead of first gear! I sure wish they had made reverse a bit trickier to get into.
