I live in Corning (1.5 hrs away) and do get to ROC occassionally, however I do not have any immediate plans. Interested in meeting half way, say Penn Yan?

Let us know

Hey Lauren,
Let us know what you think of the shades. I'm about 5-6 weeks from delivery of my Clubman and am starting to line up accessories. From what I've read on this forum, I should consider shades for the sunroof.
By the way, I live in the Buffalo area but have a business based in Gates. So I drive a lot and am really looking forward to the better gas mileage of the new Mini. Every day I have to wait is costing me!
...Dave

Well, this is certainly an encouraging sign! I get the feeling from all I've read that the limo tint won't entirely do the trick for me. I don't really want to mess with the existing shade (replacing fabric, etc.), so this looks something I'll be needing shortly .

YAY!!! This has become my latest mission in life...getting some type of sun shade for the sun roofs. It's been wicked hot in SC already...surely an indication of temperatures to come...and my husband are frantically trying to come up with a solution before our road trip to Atlanta at the end of July.

If you would like an American Flag cling, I have a friend that uses this on her MCS...http://www.cooperaccessories.com/cat...roducts_id=188 but I'm not sure whether the R56 and R55 have the same sized sunroofs or not.

You might also contact http://www.cooperflags.com/roofs.cfm to see if they are planning any... Or perhaps find a local entity that makes "clings" and find out if they'd make one up for the Clubman...and you might very well be able to get quite a few people on here to go in for a "group buy".

I live in Massachusetts and found a local sign shop that will print custom graphics and install it on the sunroof for $125.00 plus tax of course They use the same 3M Material as cooper flags at a fraction of the cost and it is installed. They wanted to charge me $50 just to put the graphics on if i ordered them from cooper graphics. So my suggestion is to check out a local place to see what kind of a deal you can find. just make sure that it is the laminated 3M Product it will not last if it is not.

Good for you schatzy62! I hope you'll post a photo or two because I'm sure there are others who'll be very interested. I like clings.

So how do these sunroof shades "install" Stratmosphere? They look very similar to the sunshade item that that people put across their windshields.

laurendesigns- We have a new exhaust company in the works and our full fabrication and bending facility is almost ready. Your car could be used for the first example and a shiny new production system would be yours for working with us. LMK!

I went out yesterday morning. Very neat place they have. The sunscreen just slides in between the glass and the internal perforated roll back shade. It is stiff enough to stay in place by resting on the sunroof frame.
