MINIs Do Coffee Meet ...
The time is here !
Anyone wanna get together next week sometime for a Starbucks Coffee meet ? Im thinking either Weds, thurs or Friday ... ( June 11, 12 or 13th )
This will be at our usual spot, Starbucks Linden @ Aviation Plaza Rte 1&9

Max, yes 7pm or so sounds good. Though i may get there around 6;30 or so.

I arrived at my friend's house at 8:30pm so I didn't get the chance to go to F1 Boston for the meet & greet.
I also didn't attend the rally b/c it was too early in the morning . Besides, with the price of gas, I didn't plan to anyways.

Besides, with the price of gas, I didn't plan to anyways.The breakfast was real nice and the morning rally was cool for the first 30 mins then we hit traffic for about 80% of the ride and ended up pretty much losing each other. when we got to Fishermans Memorial for the pit stop in Gloucester there were no bathrooms which wasn't fun after a 2 hour ride in traffic drinking water. We were free to leave as we pleased which wasn't really great because we all got separated. I took the highway back and went right to UMass.
UMass was cool except there was nothing really to do after an hour so we left and hung on on Newbury St. then came back later for Fountains of Wayne.
All in all very happy I went since it was my first MTTS.

F1 was ok, those people take themselves too serious and the uniforms are a pain.

By the way, I purchased a badge holder from the Mini accessory shop next to the parking area. After reading the installation instructions, I discovered that they gave me the wrong part. I have an 2008 MCS and they gave me the part for a standard Cooper. They didn't ask me what model I had and I didn't know enough to tell them. Anyone know how I can get in touch with them to exchange it?

My buddy and I were there too. Don't you think they could have done so much more with the UMass event? I was hoping to see a lot more vendors. I would think it would be easy to get some of the tuner, performance parts and accessory manufacturers to show for an event like that. DId we really need an XBox booth and chair massage??
