What realistic MPG are you guys seeing on your R56 Cooper S's? I am talking non-granny driving city and then highway.

Thanks,

I"m getting 30 - 31 and I'll admit that at times I do have a bit of a lead foot so I'm happy about my milage! I don't do a lot of highway driving.

Very nice. Is your computer actually on target or is it a little enthusiastic like the R53 computer? I find my R53 is off by about 1 or 2 mpg usually.

100% city (i have a terrible short commute with lot of stopped time, damn trains!) I've gotten as bad as 27MPG

About 32, according to the OBC, 40%/60% city/country driving.

I average a touch over 32mpg mixed city and highway. I do not usually drive with fuel economy in mind . OBC usually tells me I'm doing 1mpg better than that.

I'm primarily driving in the city and getting about 26mpg. I've been driving in sport mode. Since my last fill up I've been keeping the sport mode off to see if I get better gas milage. I've only got 600+ miles on the car so gas milage should improve as it breaks in.

On a recent 1,070 mile interstate trip we averaged 39.5 mpg, all hiway miles at speed limit with very little freeway. Weekly commute averages 35 to 37 mpg. This is on a 07 MCSa. OBC is fairly accurate.

For my first 1500 miles I am averaging 34.5 mpg. The 34.5 avg. is calculated at the pump, not OBC. OBC tends to be a mile or two higher. My average speed for these 1500 miles is 46.6 mph.

After 3,000 miles of 80/20 Highway/City driving I have averaged a consistent 37 miles per gallon @ 93 octane in my MCS. I'm fairly conservative on the straight and flats, moderate starts and 5-8 over posted speed limit, but I turn it loose on the curvy roads! My computer matches manual calculations on mgp.
