Has anyone had their dash peics painted?

I'm considering having a paint shop do my 3-piece dash and door ovals up in Purple Haze metallic paint - anyone have those pieces redone and care to share what you paid? Just wondering if I can afford it, or if I should just content lyself with the brushed-metal-looking interior I currently have...

Thanks!

Well I am getting a 5 piece painted as well speak, I am paying about $50, not too bad I think. Here the thing I would keep the dash the you have since it's the alloy, I did the same thing and found another on CraigsList. It took about 2 weeks to find another, just put the word out on NAM that your looking I bet you find one much faster and the 3 piece seems easier to find as well.
Well I hope that helps a bit, are you doing UV's in your footwells like you did with the blue Cathodes in NANO?

i would actually be content with doing it myself.
but then again..im so so when it comes to painting stuff
and i'd be using a rattle can to do it.

but go for it matt and then post pics!!
$50 bucks seems like a good price tho

and oh yeah..i might be trying to add some leds to my car so you might hear from me sooner or later..

Only thing is that you need a clear coat that if pretty tough. So I am getting a exterior clear coat put on so it won't scratch.

I'll keep the down tubes silver. How hard is it to get the ovals off the door skins? I've had the skins off, but the ovals stay attached. $50 seems very reasonable - it is a local independent place or a chain?

It is a local guy, I just hope it looks good since I think I am the first to have a PW dash.
