Everyone,
I was made aware of all the personal attacks going on in this thread today (as well as a couple of others). As such I am implementing a new policy that those personally attacking others will be given one warning. If they continue to do so, their account will be deleted from MCO. I have been reluctant to take this type of action but obviously people are blatantly ignoring our site guidelines and my suggestions to improve the site are going unnoticed. Let me put it in simple terms....the site guidelines were put in place to make this a fun and informative place to come. If you can't live by these guidelines you won't be welcome on MCO.

Thanks

Mark

Does that include the sarcastic opinions given by people with 2000 posts or just those of us that read a lot and don't post anything?

I don't think that Mark can do anything about personal attacks in your mind. That's a lot like "lusting in your heart".

I hope you're not calling everyone with 2000+ posts rude... Not all of us are of the 'post *****' type... some of us have just been here a really long time.... )

You just HAD to, didn't you? This is pointless baiting for flames. Why do you think the original thread got deleted?

I just "had to" what? I'm asking the person that runs this site a question. There are those of us that read a lot of posts and if it doesn't pertain to us, or we don't have anything positive to contribute, we move on. There are also those of us that seem compelled to post their opinion about whatever the topic is regardless of whether or not it helps or hurts.
Somebody posts a question about where to find a part and 27 people tell him how much they hate it and why he/she shouldn't put it on his/her car, but the only ones that get that proverbial slap on the wrist are the ones that don't spend their life on the site posting.

Case in point: What exactly did you contribute by questioning my post?
