Both great rides, congratulations on the MINI.

After a 300+ mile drive in the MINI yesterday and I still have a bit less than 1/2 of a tank, I can say you might like your MINI better after each fill.

You won't miss your old ride as much.

Cobgrats looks great. Take a couple fast curves in the MCS, you'll forget about the SRT in no time

Nice Mini!! I will be downsizing too next month. BMW 335i to a MCS. I'll miss it a little but you just can't beat the Mini community and the Mini fun factor. Besides smaller cars are just more fun!

Looks like Laser Blue to me.

But, yea... congrats. Seeing yours makes me even more anxious.
The wife has a Laser Blue MCS coming in next month.
I'll still be keeping my E46 M3... so it's not really downsizing for me. lol.

thats funny that you dropped down from an srt to a mini, because I am about to do the same thing.

I see here alot of people are saying that the fun of the mini will make you forget the srt, but as an srt owner I highly doubt that it is pretty hard to make up for the interior space coupled with 430lb of tq.

But the mini is super dope and I hope to have mine soon, much different driving experience.

I was also wondering did you trade your car in or sell it?

Awesome looking car. Absolutely love the color combo of the blue with the black and the stripes! You'll fall in love with the feel of a German engineered car and will never go back.

I've downsized from the E46 M3 and of course still miss it. You can't just compare these cars to Minis. But of course Minis are fun espesially in the twisties. I find myself always drivig in the sport mode, shifting between 4-5K rpm so the fuel economy is not really there. I had about 20 mpg with the M3 and now with the MCS I am at 26 mpg. So if you want to have fun forget the mpg even with Minis.

BTW I just added the JCW 18"matte black rims to my Laser Blue-now it really looks custom....

Nice lookin' Laser Blue/Black MCS! You're coming from a very different kind of car, but I'm sure you'll enjoy the MINI for the little butt-kicker that it is. Oh, enjoy the fuel economy too!

Congrats on your new ride. I couldn't give up my muscle car, I dont think I could stomach the loss. You are a stronger person than I. On a seperate note, I think you are going to enjoy driving it, its a whole different animal

So I guess this means I won't be seeing you around Charger or LXforums anymore? :(

The MINI is more than a suitable replacement for the SRT, and what it lacks in certain departments it makes up for in spades in the other departments. It feels like LX owners are dropping left and right these days with the price of gas being what it is.

I never saw you post a thread. Did you not for fear of the reaction of the more unenlightened members?

Either way, as they say 'round these parts Happy Motoring!
