R50/53 dyno service/tuning in Vancouver BC?
dyno service/tuning in Vancouver BC?
hello all
have a MiniMadness Stage 2 kit on my '03 MCS, and it seems to be running rich. I'd like to get it dyno-tuned to get it running right, and I'm curious as to what kind of power I'm making
as well.
Can anyone recommend a dyno-service in the Vancouver BC area? Or failing that, a repair facility familiar with Minis that won't run away at the sight of the dreaded "aftermarket" parts?
any tips appreciated
cheers

Hey You might want to seriously consider heading down for this: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...light=rmw+tune
as Jan is the tuning MASTER, and I'm uessing it will be quite sometime before he is back up this way again.
Or you could try CG Motorsports in Richmond BC 604-275-6638

I am going for the RMW Dyno Tune in South Seattle this June 21 and the only Canadian that I know of among the 14 that have confirmed participation. I have the Shark 93 flash and although it gave slight improvement, I feel that dyno tuning is the way to go based on the result and experience from fellow NAMers who went this route (JCW, GIAC, MTH, etc). RMW, I think, uses Dimsport software.
Having a BMW 330 and per the forum popularity in the BMW world, it convinced me to get Sharked in '04 together with my 15% pulley. There were not much choices like this dyno tuning during that time. I hope that the RMW dyno tune will still improve my already exciting ride. My goal is to get even HP/TQ #s with the JCW or even exceed it at half the price.
Having said all this, Dyno Tune is the way to go IMHO. Good Luck.
