OK, I give up looking...
OK, then what is the difference between the R53 MCS Coupe & the R56 One/MCS Coupe? Let me put it this way. I have a 2007 Mini Cooper S purchased Dec 2007, what R factor is it? And what does the "one" stand for?
Your 2007 MINI S is an R56
R50 is Cooper's from 2002-2006
R53 is Cooper S's from 2002-2006
R52 is Cooper (and Cooper S) Convertibles from incarnation to 2008.
R55 is Clubman (and Clubman S) from 2008-current
R56 is Cooper (and Cooper S) from 2007-current
R57 is Cooper (and Cooper S) Convertibles from 2009-?
R60 is MINI SUV maybe 2010?
Did that clear anything up?
R56 introduced in Feb 2007 as the '07 model year. You have an R56.
Your R56 is turbo-charged, while previous R53 was super-charged.
Your R56 has an even larger speedometer than R53, with the radio controls/display integrated into it.
Your R56 styling is "bulkier" due to the higher beltline (needed for Europe pedestrian safety).
Your R56 gets about 15% better gas mileage than the R53.
Many other differences, those are some highlights.

And here's my version of the chart
:
Well, you're not... but your MINI is.
:Here's a quick "cheat sheet" for you, using USA models only (e.g. no MINI One, or MINI One D, or MINI Cooper D):
R50 - 1st Gen MINI Cooper coupe (2002-2006)
R52 - 1st Gen MINI Cooper convertible and MINI Cooper S convertible (2005-2008)
R53 - 1st Gen MINI Cooper S coupe (2002-2006)
R55 - 2nd Gen MINI Cooper Clubman and MINI Cooper S Clubman (2008+)
R56 - 2nd Gen MINI Cooper coupe and MINI Cooper S coupe (2007+)
R57 - 2nd Gen MINI Cooper convertible and MINI Cooper S convertible (2009+)
So, as you can see, except for the 1st Gen coupes, the same R code is used for both Cooper & Cooper S variants of a particular model.
