Show Us Your Joey Mods

Hi, I recently bought a used 2005 MCS and have been looking at pics of Joey mods on here. I thought it would be cool if everyone who has done this mod could post their pics in one thread for everyone to see. Thanks.

Aw dang it... now I'm gonna have to do that. I was gonna go with body colored rings but that just looks GOOD.

I have the earlier style xenons, did it in satin black, keeping with the silver & black theme, and kept the chrome rings, at least for now.Name: Picture053-2.jpg

anyone have a detailed write up of how this was done? did you bake it in the oven to release the seal on the lens?

Nicest Joey Mod I've seen thus far. Looks SICK! Love the matte DS to contrast a bit.

From a distance...

I put a vinayl ring around my chrome rings...it looked good for a while, but couldnt make em stick good...

Just put a new hood so the look is completely different...ill post pics when I get some good ones.

If i had to do it over, I wouldnt...what a pain in the a$$ IMHO.

yeah it is...gotta unscrew everything and then unplug stuff then carefully take off the chrome rings and then carefully take it apart then take out the chrome part and then do everything in reverse..
BUT..in the end..it's definitely worth it..

Hey, I saw your car at the Alta grand opening. I was the guy making this face It looks incredible, and I have to say that It pretty much sealed the deal on me doing this mod. I have an R56 and found that it REALLY helps to tone down the oversized headlight look on the 2nd gen car. I don't think the pics really do it justice. But here are a few of my own. I painted my trim pieces with the rattle cans that minspeed sells. I'm not quite done with my blackout mods...the chrome must go!
