Is that spare tire for the MINI?
If so, get rid of that dead weight and go spareless like the rest of us.
You have three weeks to put the MINI back together again, I'm confident that you'll get it done in time.

See you at the Dragon.

Mines assembled, although it needs new rubber, and there's a few small things I'd like to do.

While you're in there that far, pull out the front wheel wells and scrub all that mud and dirt out, both sides! Give you something to do while you wait for parts to arrive.

Hey, can I have that undercarraige panel? Classic forgot to put mine back on when I was in for service a week or so ago. I hope when I call tomorrow they still have it. Then again, a new one would be nice and clean.

Whoops. I must apologize to Classic in an open forum since I mistakingly didn't look close enough under the MINI. Indeed my undercarraige panel is there. Seems smaller than it did the last time I had it off.

Mine is technically ready and all in one piece. Although I really really need to ditch these stock runflats before heading to the dragon (especially if it is going to be raining down there). I'm also bummed that I won't be able to lower Ambrosia and get her some new wheels too before then.

My MINI is barely a week old (since delivery that is,) and will be on its stock run-flats but that's ok because it'll probably still be in break-in mode (which is much harder than I thought, heh)

roadodendron has been hard at work all weekend on some new brakes & rotors that didn't turn out to be what he had hoped for - hope he can get that sorted out to his satisfaction in time for the Dragon! Uh oh...now it might be something like a master cylinder, Rita is going to the shop this weekend :(

Edit - at least mine has a name now, hope roadodendron's will be fixed by then!

^Thanks!

I live in a new subdivision and they are throwing up houses left and right. I've already picked up 4 nails so I don't roll anyway without a spare! That also explains the mud all over the car becuase they make a damn mess of the street!

Ouch! I feel your pain..
My MINI shutters whenever we pass any new subdivisions, we have not had the best of luck even passing by one.

It's almost like they go around sprinkling nails all over the new subdivisions.

it is too bad we couldn't get some sort of "Ding Doctor" at MOTD. I am sure plenty of us have little scars we would like removed.

Some kind of Paintless Dent Removal would be great... I emailed Pamalalala about perhaps having one as a sponsor...

I was hoping to install my new exhaust and TSW X brace this past weekend. It turned out my back was still bothering me so I'm scheduled for Wed at local shop Mach V for installation of both.

Other than that, I've got a new set of Wet Okoles coming. Just like the set I have but they were getting a bit faded. I didn't do the UV spray as often as I should have. But I got three years out of them so I'm happy. When I'm at a show the interior is one of the biggest wow's so I want them nice and rich colored again. Also got a set of CoCo mats in black with red tracers since I had so little red in the interior.

I'm doing the Britain on the Green car show (Alexandria VA) on Sun the 27th so the car will get a major clean and detail for the show then I'll leave that night after the show or Monday am for the Dragon.

I am really jazzed about this year's Dragon. It is my third trip to Deal's Gap and each year gradually finds my 2005 BRG/White MCS (Emma) with more and more mods. Originally after taking delivery it was 4 R90's in anthracite with a JCW exhaust (no resonator), then the following year it was an Alta 3.0 pulley and Alta C.A.I., soon to be replaced with a DDM Works box and filter. Now, for her third tour of Dragon she is shod with Michelin Exalto rubber (instead of the original Pirelli R/F) and a new JCW suspension package. I may also replace the stock front brake rotors with some Brembo's and some Ferodo pads to keep up with that curvacious bitumen we all lovingly refer to as "The Dragon". We'll see you there!
