Finally! Scheduled......

We are finally scheduled for the birth canal, does anyone have an estimate of when it might hit the dealer? We are expecting a silver club s w/ red rooster interior/black piano, cold weather package, satelite radio. Looking forward to the 's', our 05 mini is an automatic in the cooper line, we are siked about the added horsepower!

Uh, would you like some friendly advice? <g>

Take a deep, breath.

Now take another. and another. Keep doing this for about 3 weeks.
At that point. Start posting frantically things like" Where's my baby?",
Does anybody know if the boat docked? , How long til it goes from
the dock to my dealer? Is it here yet? , Huh, How about now? <g>.

Just kidding, but after 3 posts asking the same thing in less than 15
minutes, I'm concerned about you. I know what your going thru.

My MINI is being unloaded today in Charleston, SC. It should be
on the road sometime in the next couple of days , (I hope). Would like
to be able to pick it up by Saturday, but that's probably being optimistic.

With you listing your somewhere in Appalachia, I'd guess your going thru
the same port (Charleston). In my case it took about 5 days to go thru
production. Sat on the doc 10 days waiting on a boat, and then about
10 days getting to Charleston. Add a week getting to the dealer, and your
looking at approx. a month total.

Good luck on the wait. It's nerve racking... but please pace yourself. <g>.

Not only will you stress yourself out... but have pity on your family <g>..
(My wife was sick of hearing about the MINI 2 weeks ago <g>)

It's an exciting time, isn't it! I know I was pretty thrilled when I learned our Clubman was finally going into production.

Check out the thread "How to track your Mini" in the 1st Gear section. Calling the 866-ASK-MINI number will get you the most up-to-date info. We found out our car is at sea, and am now counting the days til it arrives.

Good luck!
