Checking for others headed to The Dragon. I'm coming from the Columbus/Ft. Benning area.(I guess I'm West-Middle GA). Anyone out there going?

 

Shaun & I decided to take the MINIs to the MITTY instead that weekend at Road Atlanta. Because of other travel plans we had to opt for the shorter & closer event. We haven't been to the Dragon, yet, and are really wanting to catch MOTD next time. Is this your first time going?

 

JJo- This is my first MOTD, I've been looking forward to it since I read about the Dagon last year. Enjoy your trip to Atlanta; maybe we'll all make MOTD 2009. It's good to hear from a fellow Georgia MINI owner.

 

I'm seriously debating going - Not sure what to do with puppy. If I go, I'd be roughing it camping... I want Lyle's and Aesthetic Creations to do some things with

 

Congrats on your new ride and hope to see you you at the Sonic on Sat. I was hoping to go to the Dragon this, year but no such luck. I'm really looking forward to seeing your Clubman as all I've seen are pictures. Did you get it at So. Atlanta Mini?? Keep in touch, we all look forward to meeting you. That goes for Shifti too.

 

Congratulations on the Clubman! I can't wait to see it! I hope Malcolm finds a good home *SIGH*. I loved the M1N1MAL tag...r u going to transfer it?

Speaking of events, Shaun & I won't be at the Sonic meeting this Sat. We have a hockey game. Gotta go see the Thrashers lose one last game for the year. Grrrr

 

I don't think I'll transfer it - I'm going to see if CLUBMAN or CLUBMIN or something like those are available. And I Have to wait for it to announce it's gender/name to me upon delivery...

 

Well, it looks like I'm going it alone. Maybe some of ya'll Mid-GA MINI folks can come next time.

 

Shifti - how was the Dragon? We were disappointed in the numbers at The Mitty but kind of expected it with competing events. We had fun nonetheless!

I've been out of the loop for a week or so. I went on to Washington D.C. when I left the Dragon. Really had a blast on the Dragon; it is a must drive for any MINI owner. I'm going to post more about the event later and give more details on a new thread.
