Now that the Mini is soon to be gone.

Well some time ago I had mentioned that I wanted to take a front end from a Riley Elf or Wolsley Hornet and marry it to a van or wagon to make a Mini Herse.
Time to keep my ears open for that rarest of parts, the front end.
I also LOVE the look of that one piece door(found on a thread on Sunshine Minis if I recall). It TOTALLY plays into what I imagine in this Mini. At ANY time I will buy the front end or a one piece rear door as they are the difficult to get items, though I do not plan to move forward at any real speed on the rest at this time. I may even decide to build this one with help of those willing to teach me what I need to know to do it save the bodywork and paint.
For now, the search for the front end is back on.

Hey Lance, just an FYI that rear door was a fiberglass fabrication. Not something you could just pick up somewhere.

Excellent, thank you. I hope that means it is lighter as to be nicer to the hinges on the one side.

Many thanks!

Well when I pay not too much cash I am willing to have a local fiberglass guy fix it.
