I've been watching the MOTD MINI Show and there has yet to be a Mad Modder registered. Come on all you with enough in mods to buy another MINI, show em off. Stop being shy, lets get a decent field going here. I don't want to be the ONLY one!!

It's ONLY 10 bucks and there are some great trophies being made. Not your usual car on top of plastic stuff, but a real trophy you'd be proud to display. I've even heard hints there may be a set of tires maybe possibly if the clouds are tight and all goes well.

I am registered for MOTD but not the Mini Show.

I registered in the modded MCS category since that's what mine came out to be. Not all my mods were offered as options on the checklist but even so, I don't think I have enough to be in the mad modders!

I got enough to buy another one in mine, but its mostly all small stuff that unless I tell you = you wouldn't even notice it. Like took rearwindshield wiper off moved the chrome MINI logo up over the hole, welded the trunk deck where the logo emblem left a big hole and repainted it. So on, and on and on!

 

I just squeaked in to "Stock" (with 10 points) when strictly following the checklist... but something tells me I'll be disqualified.

 

Is there a category for greatest quantity of OEM Equipment? Or maybe one for 'Longest documented car stereo install in the history of the world'?

 

I think you would be surprised... I'd bet that 1/2 of the folks at MOTD will be able to look at your car and list those 2 mods. These aren't your average car show wanderers... these are MINI enthusiasts!

 

how many mods do you need to get to "mad". I'm entered in the show, and have about 3 or 4 more that will be done by the Dragon, but I added them into the calculation just in case, and was still just "modded"

 

I think you need 35 or more to be mad...?

 

you should park your killer blacked out blue mini, next to my blacked out blue mini at the show, just to blow the judges minds =P they won't know what to do
