Reset Miles to inspection & OBC

Hello, can anyone tell me how to reset the miles to inspection on the spedo? Also i hear theres a way of displaying your speed on the tac OBC. Ive scrolled through the displays, but only come up with: avg. speed, mpg, temp, and miles till fill up. I also heard theres a mpg display that shows your current mpg, vs. overall mpg. Any help?

You have an 02?

I'm gonna guess you have an 02?

My 02 has what you describe on the OBC....the other stuff was added later....not sure when but not on my 02 S

5)In about 5-8 sec RST will show in the left corner
6)Release and then hold again "15000" will show, press and release
7)Car is now reset to the 15,000 service - (has completed 10,000 mile service) and will count down from 15,000.

I have followed this procedure up to step 6 with 15000 showing but did not reset. I'm only at 2700 miles now but changed oil at 1250. Note: the 15A and RST are a little difficult to read because of Capital and Small letters.

AWESOME instructions!!!!
Followed your steps and it worked!!! I'm up to 72,000 miles (no more free oil changes) Just a note - Mine showed 51A guessing that means 51,000 because I did not reset last time we did the oil change, also inceased to 15,500 for count down, again I think because of my 72,000 miles in it.

Thanks for the post, the guy at Classic Mini told me it was easy but was not allowed to tell me how to do it. BTW - Mini is an '04 MC.

Thanks again,
Kim
