Los Angeles MINI Shop- MiniCorsa.com in Van Nuys?
Has anyone had work done @ Mini Corsa in Van Nuys, CA www.MiniCorsa.com ? They look like a nice shop & everything on their website seems straight-forward. Just wondering if anyone on here has visited or taken their Mini there. Thanks in advance!

I wouldn't judge a book by it's cover, lol. Danny is a great guy to work with, and I've had him do lots of work on my MINI. I've referred a lot of friends to him, and will be doing more mod work in the next week with him. Highly recommended. Just bring a good book, a folding chair, some eats, and stuff if you wait there. =)

Actually, I know what you meant, but I was actually referring to his actual shop and location. =P
Some people who have seen his website, then actually went to the shop were dismayed by the apparent difference.
His shop isn't a luxurious BMW dealership with a gal serving Latte, and lots of cool lounge chairs, etc...
For me, all I care is that I got the most knowledgeable/competent guy working on my car, advising me, and ensuring that my car is safe to operate. What his shop looks like is irrelevant to me. He's a small operation, but fully equipped. His rates are reasonable and best of all, I leave with the secure feeling that the work was done to my satisfaction and I wasn't jipped by the dealership. =)
Best of all, no worries about telling the dealership NOT to wash my car, lol.

i can vouch for danny as well. he's done quite a bit of work on my MINI recently and he is always quick, knowledgable and honest. his prices are very fair too. i'll echo all of richards sentiments above- gee richard we should bump into each other sometime i would think!
anyhow i'm very picky with L.A. mechanics and danny has earned my repeat business for life. i just got an extended warranty and i will still be going back to minicorsa rather than the dealer based on principals alone!
anyhow tell hime richard and andy sent you! (yep i'm an andy too)
good luck!

I don't like to put on bumperstickers, or do anything that is outwardly flamboyant or attention grabbing. But I have his nice Minicorsa sticker and license plate holder on my 239 hp. 03 MCS. He is cool, very knowledgeable, a racer and efficient. He does anything major that is needed on my car. (Cylinder head, Cross suspension, Supercharger, etc.

I paid a visit to Danny & the shop today too. Danny is super knowledgeable, friendly and wants to make your MINI experience the best it can be-- and like everyone said, his prices are fair. I posted a new thread here with a few questions re my visit and upgrading a few things::

This forum is great. I promise to stop posting n00b questions soon! BTW, I do searches before I post-- I know that's a big concern in most forums.
