I would think that you would gain a bit of both being as it is a forced induction engine.
Straight from the cat. No resonator or muffler. I've done this to my car and it is LOUD. I really don't like it and i it just feels slower because i can't hear the supercharger whine anymore. I can drive by cars and find out if they have an alarm or not.
lol yeah i use the have the m7 exhaust with the megan header and was cool for a while but was just too loud...i still set of alarms with just the m7 and stock header tho
Webb produced that 3" exhaust for a short time, and found it didn't loose much / any torque down low. With forced induction, the less back pressure the better (you still want proper scavenging, so, say, a 6" exhaust wouldn't work well).
In theory it won't lose any torque anywhere. However in practice the unaccounted for resonances and scavenging will make a significant impact on exhaust performance, which will change your torque curve.
its because you moved the tourqe range op.. you will defently get more horsepower.. and a little tourqe but only up in the higher rpm´s... I had that same problem when i mowed my cat. Solved that problem by the ECU tuning by RH Motorsport here in denmark... They f... rock
I have to roll down my window a bit so the sound of the exhaust won't be so loud in my car. I think i'm going to jump on the volt because it's around my budget.
