F&R Mudflaps? Any at all?

I have seen pictures of Minis with the rear mudflaps on this forum, but no indication of where to get them. I have seen mudflaps at MiniMania and at Outmotoring, but the ones at Outmotoring are only the front mudflaps. The ones they have at MiniMania are the same front ones as Outmotoring has, and then some trucker-esque ones for the rear. (http://www.minimania.com/web/Item/CA.../InvDetail.cfm)

See, I'm having problems with the rear of my Mini looking like a dust/mud collector, while the rest of my car is looking pretty good. Needing front mudflaps as well, but if I can't find rear ones to match, I think I just might not get any.

Any input would be much appreciated!

HELP KEEP THIS BABY CLEAN!

edit: for MCS, not conv or Coop.

I've seen photos of front and rear mud flaps also, but like you, recently went looking for them and couldn't find the rears. I know they exist, I've seen a 1st gen MINI with them...the rears integrate into the rear fender flares...I'll keep looking and post where I find them.

The rear mudflaps are only available for the R50. Us R53'ers have to make do with either adapting Cooper rear trim, or just using front flaps.

I've had them on the front of my 03 MC since it was new, and they do help keeping road crud from getting on the sides of the car, but some still does. I have heard that the rears don't do much, as there is not much car behind the rear wheels. Nothing keeps the boot clean

I just put the front ones on yesterday. They're pretty unobtrusive and should help to keep things cleaner.....

I have had the front flaps on both of my MCS. They work pretty well in keeping the sides clean.

Nothing helps to keep the boot clean.

I have the front mudflaps. They dont do much to keep the back clean, but the help a bit on the sides. Not by much though. Draw an imaginary straight line from the botton of the front tire's contact patch to the bottom of the mudflap and continue it onto the car. Anything below this line will be splattered. I've been considering getting a set of urethane rally mudflaps, not only will they look cool, but they will help a lot more.

From: Philly area.
Just an FYI relating to mud flaps in the north with snow and what happens after that.
Someone else might want to chime in but my experience has been that they collect ice and snow to the point of rubbing the tires (front and back) unless you break the stuff off.
The last two cars I've had them on...they came off the first year...hmmm I must be dumb actually did that twice. I've decided, for several reasons, not to put them on my Filthy white MCS....Pepper white?, not for 4 months out of the year around Philly and north.

OH another thing, don't let anyone mount then into metal...rust guaranteed.
