Time: 9 am
Departure: 9:30 am
Place: Safeway, 110 Strawberry Village, Mill Valley, CA
Lunch: 11:45 am, Marin French Cheese Factory (on-site deli or bring your own picnic)

RSVP on the REME MegaBBS Calendar. Download and bring the Run Map with you. Bring your camera, water, picnic lunch, and 2-way radio set at 7-21.

 

I contacted the Cheese Factory yesterday. I verified with staff that they would be able to accomodate our group in their deli. I warned them that we would likely have at least 40-50 diners and they anticipated no problems accomodating us.

If you want to bring your lunch with you, thats okay too.... they have beautiful picnic facilities. I don't believe they are currently offering factory tours although they have in the past. We will have time to participate in one if they have any scheduled.

We should be able to see for miles from atop Mount Tamalpais. Bring your cameras for some great photo Ops.

Please print out and bring a copy of the route map (you can find this on the REME website calendar page). Just click on the highlited run description for March 1 and it will come up in PDF.

Please print out and bring a copy of the cell phone list (This can be found on the REME MegaBBS forums page in the Members Only Section under "members cell phone numbers" thread. Check the last posting for the most current list). Please add your name & cell number to the list if you have not.

Bring your FRS/GMRS Radios (fully charged) and set for channel 7 sub channel 21. (I usually bring extras so see me (Norm) if you need one to borrow).

Bring your cell phone and cameras, and suggest a bottle of water.

This run should be "mellow" paced with several stops along the way. Please be sure to have a full tank of gas and empty bladder before we depart. There are plenty of gas stations near the Strawberry Shopping Center, Mill Valley. Our meetup time is 9:00AM for a 9:30AM departing time. Our first stop will be atop Mt. Tam at 10:00AM. This will be a 1/2 hour stop, the next stop will be at 11:45AM for lunch at the Cheese Factory in Petaluma. After lunch the run will resume.

 

It looks like we may have over 35 cars on this run as well!

Nice Pictures. Wanted to make the run but had other stuff to do.

 

In the group we had 2 new Clubmans along for the drive. It was great to get a first hand view of them "in action". They looked great and did great
