AMVIV5 registrations are now open

Dates are March 27-30, 2008.

Palace Station is the host hotel again.
The reservation group code is PCIMVIV call (800) 634-3101 to book.

This is one of the most popular and best attended MINI events in the USA. If you have not yet been to one of the Sin City's hosted AMVIV weekends, you won't want to miss it in 2008. For the last 3 years, REME was the most represented CA club at AMVIV! Last year there were over 400 cars in attendance, and about 34+ REME cars! More information will be posted as it develops.

Janet and I will leave Healdsburg early Tuesday morning arriving in Las Vegas around 4pm and return home on Sunday. We will be taking an ugly direct route again this year. If anyone is interested in joining us in either direction, email me or post your driving plans on the REME MegaBBS thread. AMVIV technically does not start until Thursday.

We have stayed in the Tower Rooms since AMVIV2... then they were only $74 per night and the courtyard were about $20 less.... we were on the 12th floor two years and the 14th floor one year...
If you have a choice, get a tower room facing the garage.

400? We had just under 500 cars!
I hope REME will show up in force again. You guys are fun to hang out with.
The hotel rates have gone up this year (sorry, I tried to get them down but couldn't) to $89 for the Courtyard rooms and $129 for the Tower rooms. They are capping us at 140 Tower rooms (and 180 Courtyard rooms, though they may let us go over a little on the Courtyards) and there were 48 rooms alreay booked as of yesterday (10/2) morning.

I stand corrected on the total number... I didn't personally count the cars lol!

I posted to old rates just for reference... they have gone up at about the same rate around here as well. I think with the declining value of the $ that inflation is making it's appearance again.

I think about a dozen of our group have already made our hotel reservations... is event registration up yet on the Sin City site?

Here's a link to our 2007 AMVIV4 photos.

Excellent!
Norm, for me, it's seeing all the people who come to Vegas and have a great time that makes it worth all the work and stress of hosting the event.

Now that I have shifted my flag from Mid-Cal MINIs to Redwood Empire I will register under Redwood's banner this year.
Thanks.

AMVIV5 registrations are now open

AMVIV registrations are now open for the March 27-30, 2008 event.
Go to www.AMVIV.com/reg.htm to sign up.
When you click the submit button, you will be taken to the checkout page.

If you want to pay with PayPal, add all your items to your cart and pay. If you want to pay by check, please print your registration page, then put all your items in the PayPal cart and print the PayPal cart page. Please include
these printouts with your check (payable to Sin City MINI Club) and mail them to:
Sin City MINI Club
AMVIV V Registration
3195 Shadow Bluff Ave
Las Vegas, NV 89120

Any purchases that do not include either a car registration or vendor registration will be cancelled and refunded.

After your payment is received, you will receive an email confirmation. If you have not gotten an email confirmation from Andrew Ross aka Agro, YOU ARE NOT REGISTERED.

Vendor registrations are not yet open. We will be contacting prior AMVIV vendors and other companies that have contacted us during the year regarding becoming a vendor. The vendor registrations will open some time after the New Year.

If you haven't booked your hotel room yet, you should do so ASAP. When I talked to Palace Station on Thursday, there were only a few Tower rooms left on our group rate of $129. Palace has just raised the non-group rate for AMVIV weekend to $219 per night for Tower rooms.

There are still over 100 Garden rooms left on the group rate, but they fill up pretty fast and once they're gone, that's all she wrote.

To book at Palace Station, call the Palace Station Reservations Office at 1-800-634-3101. Use reservation ID "PCIMVIV" or identify yourself as a Sin City MINI Club attendee. All room rates are plus tax.

See you in March.
