JCW CF Hoodscoop on a AB?

Does anyone out there in internet-land have a photo of this combo? Either it will look really stealth, or terrible...

-Thanks,

JB

Thanks for the plug Spud.

Here are some pics I have of these CF parts. Going from just the AB parts to these was worth it. It pops nicely on the AB and other darker colors I feel. These are real CF, very thin single layer but real for sure. The rear handle is mounted on the plastic handle part.

Looks Nice!! Like I said I'm getting it soon and the rear handle as well! Do you think you could post a picture of the rear with the handle, full width? So I can see what it looks like from straight behind. Thanks!

Mase: We are usually done with eating and socializing by about 10 or 10:30 so you will have plenty of time and may even get to start your journey out of town early.

Masterd78: I know what you mean. I have to weigh what I want to get not just for my car but other "items" that I "need" around the house and such. The CF parts really do look perfect on the AB. You would be happy with them. Only word of warning is on the hood scoop when you go to tighten the single screw from under the hood (seen from inside the opening under the hood), the glued panel that the screw clip sits on is VERY thin and if the screw is hard to tighten it can literally rip that plastic panel apart. I would transfer the screw clip from your original scoop over since that would have a better time threading in and tighten SLOWLY. Other than that and the task of removing the mirror caps (spork method) they are easy enough to replace. Rear handle wire clip can pose a challenge to unclip but I think 4 screws and it comes right off.

Sweet! Thanks for the info. I am going to get the hood scoop and the tailgate handle. I am leaving the mirrorcaps white, but have CF doorhandles on order. So the CF theme will go from front to back!

Funny you say that...

I am in conversations with Mike from AC to create a set of flat black sport stripes for me...

Heajay - it is a standard JCW piece - order from morristown mini or another site sponsor. I think they are $150.

That is about what I paid for it, the scoop is more obviously.

If you order the mirror caps in CF, make sure the parts counter person you are ordering through knows if you have auto-fold mirrors or manual fold mirrors (the caps are different inside). I had to wait to get the right driver side cap to put them both on. Takes patience for removing them but goes on easily.
