Ok I saw this and though it was sweet. I looked at the MINI owner's website, sent them an email but in the meantime does anyone know if the Mr. Bean graphic was custom made or something I could get? Any links to purchasing prices? I want it!!!

 

I, too, saw that graphic at the Dragon. It was "Craptastic!"

Yeah it definitely was at the Dragon last year... if I am remembering right, they took little pieces of vinyl that we could sign, and stuck it to the car.

yeah it was really cool, i know it wasn't permanent.. just something cool to do at the dragon.. they were like pink, green and blue neon pieces.. it looked great

 

I'm sure they will tell you from whom you can get it from. Just to add to the thread, I believe that it is an interior application or 2nd surface. Furthermore, it is screen, FWIW.

(I take it back, maybe it is applied from the outside (first surface). Take a look at the second image, it appears that the bottom edge is lifting a little bit. But I'm thinking anyone who would want something similar would want it on the interior for obvious reasons.)

Well I got a email back from the owner. He is a graphic artist and that they had to get permission from Mr. Bean's agent to make it and he would not reproduce it because it was made for his wifes MINI to make it stand out. And due to Copyright, no licensing from Mr. Beans Agency, he can not legally sell it. That stinks its such a unique piece.

I emailed her too, got the same speel. Like you're going to run into a Mr Bean attorney . And I don't think we're going to have a bunch of MINI's with bean graphics meeting each other.

 

Wow, that's funny!! And here i thought that I had such a unique name for my car!!! Well, it appears that their car is named after the Mr Bean character, whereas my car is named after the drink, Java Monster's Mean Bean. I am glad that there are enough differences between our cars (and states too!) I saw that their license plate reads "MrBean" mine is just "BEAN"

Dang it, if I didn't already have the license plates I'd rename my car to something else... but I guess that eventually some duplication happens.

 

Funny, I don't think I would want him in my Mini either.

 

TRUE I mean its unique and Mr. Bean did drive a Yellow MINI. Just though it was cool. I'll see if someone else can make something up for me.

 

You wouldn't believe how many request across the world I've gotten for those graphics. I wish it would be possible, but it's not. Oh yeah...I'm a she not a he.
