rear suspention rattle?

The rattle happens almost constantly, even on the smallest of bumps. I have checked sway bar links, sway bar, lower control arms, etc. I have a felling it might be the strut bushings. Most of the noise comes from the drivers side but some from both. Is there a way to check bushings without taking the struts out?

Hey, give me a PM or call our head tech Jeff at 503-693-1702. We don't want the ALTA end links just sitting in your garage. If they are truly rattling there is a possibility that the rod ends can be covered under warranty.

Hi Tools: My personal apologies that you had any issue at all with the setup on the car. We would agree that in MOST situations those should last far longer than that. The salty roads in your area, due tend to wear them faster and as such later versions were updated with a slightly different rod end to help relieve that problem.

To back up what John said above, if you want I would gladly replace the rod ends for you no charge. I simply need the parts back. If you are willing to send them, they would be sent back free and updated. You have to admit that is a better deal than buying something elsewhere? At least you would get some additional use out of your investment!

I understand your frustration, but no reason to spend more money than you have to. (Plus then you don't have to update your signature!-)

Chat soon!

My endlinks rattle all the time, but I expected that when I bought them.

It's not that I don't appreciate the offer, but when you've had some of the parts replaced once already, and they didn't hold up than why waste your time and do it again.

I agree that it is a good offer, but I have decided to try a different brand and hope for longevity. Being in the tool business as you might figure out, and a bought a tool and it failed the first time, Ok I take it back for repair or exchange then it fails again in the same area then should I continue buying the tool?

I am not here to knock Alta's product. I am hear to solve a problem. The end links didn't work for me that doesn't mean they won't work for everyone else.

But you haven't given them a chance to replace them with the newer/better one.

Hope the new ones work out !
