Damn... I hate to say it, but once you chopped the roof off, I think you're committed to finishing it... otherwise it's not worth much... do you still have the roof? How hard would it be to reattach?

i still have the roof..and you can re-attach it..........and this is what posessed me ..........

when i got the car the rear seat was already removed by previous owner so i figured a perfect canidate for a roadster........it's all about be original.....i restore minis to there original state as a buisness........figured it would be awesome to maybe do something different.........

here is a link to a few other custom minis

Roadsters/ topless minis

www.autoweb.co.uk/seo_1/mods.asp?cdModel=Mini (16th box down )

Just because it doesn't have a roof doesn't make it worthless .....makes it different which in some cases can make it more valuable if done up right.......

the asking price is 1500.00 obo........considering the fact the im including all new floor pans, and outer sills (which is what was primaraly rusted (pass. rear is already tacked in)i dont think that is to bad of a price......im open to offers.......i still have the roof, i still have the front seats and it all comes with the car......

Where are you located? I am in Chattanooga, TN. Might be worth a weekend project. I assume (bad idea) that there is an engine and drivetrain?

IMHO i would stitch it back together. As far as drive trains....get one from Norm at teh same time so that's one less thing you have to worry about.

Man, this would make an awesome rat rod. I can absolutely see it with a chainlink steering wheel, black primer paint, some red pinstriping, and a skull shiftknob. Someone should snag it up. Wish I had the room/time, or that someone would be me. Good luck on the sale.
