I could almost ship this thing to new york myself cause I am going to be down your way on business at the end of the month. Basically free mileage from the company, but pulling my trailer all the way down and back isn't worth the aggravation. I was thinking about making a parts run to your buddy Dion though.

The trailer basically doubles the time it takes to come through west virginia though, which is the worst part of the drive. I guess you're planning on driving to MN???

I trailer mine three miles twice a week and its just scary because you almost get hit by every rubber necker that never seen a mini before.

I pull a trailer in my Jeep like 8+ trips a year, one round trip being to Mississippi.

Now admitedly I am pulling a boring BOX, but still I have to deal with the idiots that cannot manage to get out of the way.

I've trailered a new MINI to the Dragon and my classic from New York to Ohio (both on a rental U-haul flat bed style trailer) and it was no problem. Behind a Suburban, I literally forgot it was back there. Just take it slow and remember you're so much longer when turning. oh, and put a pair of 2X4's under the ramps to extend them and lower the approach angle - I didn't even scrape the classic, and that car can't go over a speed bump without dragging the cat and muffler!

Good luck on the sale, Norm!

PS - We'll be driving down to Florida in the summer... Can we stop by and meet you and walk through Dion's candy store of parts do you think?

This is the coolest desk. I think I like it better than the '57 Chevy couches showing up designer furniture boutiques back in the 80's.
