Santa got me a new suspension! :)

Santa gave me the go ahead to get the JCW suspension and H&R 19mm rear antsway bar

I'm also going to try and make the RMW tuning session at Helix in Jan and see what he can pull out of my stock JCW....WOO HOO!

Me too!

Let us know if you like it. I also got JCW suspension for Xmas. Had it installed yesterday. I have only driven it 30 miles and unfortunately its been raining. I can say the little bumps & imperfections don't rattle my car like the stock sport suspension plus did. I still have my original run craps. I can't say anything yet on other handling aspects because of the rain.

JCW suspensions rides better than the stock sport? Is this due to progressive springs or different valving?

I would like to know too. Morrisown has it for $675 and I have been considering it for a while.

Thats where I bought mine from. In California it goes for retail price. If Morristown did not have it for $700.00 shipped to CA, I would not have bought it. While not cheap that extra $300.00 was to steep of mental barrier for me to spend money on a non esential item.

From Morristown page:
To achieve these targets, stiffer springs are the heart of the sport suspension kit to lower the center of gravity. The shock absorbers are customized for these stiffer springs, with a shorter piston rod and a special control valve assembly. This combination allows improved road holding in combination with enough ride comfort for the day-to-day driving.
All sites state that springs must be ordered separately. Sounds like that would be at additional cost, though my dealer's site does not list the springs separately for purchase.

You get the springs from Morristown

All I know is I got two boxes shipped to me. One box had red springs and the other box had struts marked JCW for $700.00 total shipped.

Good to know. From Morristown page:
The coil springs need to be ordered separately, depending on the options installed on the individual vehicle.
From MINI of Peabody page:
The coil springs need to be ordered separately, depending on the options installed on the individual vehicle.
Must be the same JCW suspension boilerplate. Did Morristown perhaps pick out your springs based on info you conveyed to them about your car when you placed your order?

I sent Morristown my vin# with my order, because I knew they would need to order the springs based on my cars options. I have a Factory JCW checkmate with no sunroof or other options except armrest & chrome interior.
