Hello, I have a 2007 mini and I'm having this weird problem. Everytime I start my mini up and after 30 second to a minute the DSC and brake lights goes on (yellowish light). I stopped and turn off the engine and re-start but same thing. I tried to turn off the DSC but something happen. Another thing I notice is whenever the light goes on and I turn my turn signal it does not go off by itself. I re-started the car and before the DSC light came on I tested the turn signal and it works fine. Sometime, I shut off the engine and the wiper goes on and I can't turn it off until I start the engine. Is my mini possessed???

 

Bring that beast into the dealer.... After all, isn't that was warranty is for? Not sure if your talking about a 2007 convertible or a coupe [due to the body style change], but either way the vehicle should be under warranty -- unless you drive tons of miles in a year!!

 

Also search here for SZL. These are the symptoms of that sensor failing. Definitely a warranty issue.
