A quick question regarding H&R Coilover [Sport]

I have just received a set of H&R coilover from BRRacing @ Cali.. (GREAT GREAT people btw..)

BeforE I assemble it with camber plates and all that, I just want to know what people did with bumpstops. I have read somewhere that it is indeed bilstein struts and have internal bumpstops. (At least for the front pair) Is it true? What about the rears? it doesn't look like front struts in terms of physical dimensions (like thickness..) so I assume its a different struts, therefore I have to re-use my stock bumpstops?

I just cannot wait til I put these on !!! all the good things I have heard about the H&R... I finally get to try it..

Thanks in advance all!

well... i have the RSS, which is probably going to apply all the same

for the first question... i didnt use bumpstops and never had a problem... because the shaft diameter is much larger (again this is on the RSS) so i cannot re-use the bumpstop unless i somehow enlarged it

for the 2nd question.. i put the stock washer back on, with the webb plates i still couldn't get full engagement, that said, i ran it all summer last year on the track, on the street and it never ever lost torque

hope this helped

Thanks for the tip! I do not know how the webb camber plates are designed, but do washers go beneath the top nut? some say it is not necessary to have a washer underneath the strut nut

I installed this kit and then gave it back two weeks later...use the stock bumpstops and all hardware.

Why did I give it back? Each front spring had one working coil after the install. Although this kit is progressive, one working coil is not enough.

Both this kit and the RSS kit work progressively; although the RSS kit have a linear spring up front, this kit is bumpstop active, like the stock struts, making both kits work progressively.

When I complained to the seller, they said they were working with H&R on this problem.

When your car is set at proper ride height, check the number of inactive coils at rest.

The ride is realy nice, however.

I used Ireland Engineering's camber kit...there were(are?) some funny engineering decisions made with those too. The nylock was barely flush with the top of the threaded stud. Not the best, obviously.
