Rick Hendrick owner of Hendrick Motorsports (Jeff Gordon, Terry Labonte, Jimmie Johnson, Joe Nemecek) owns a MINI. Saw a few other references on the NASCAR website to drivers owning and driving MINI's also. Says alot about the actual thrill of driving these cars to the "outsiders".

Another MINI owner at NASCAR,,,, hmm, maybe it isn't just a "girls/gay/whatever" car. It is a road performance car! Everyone is invited to participate in the thrills!

Dale Jr. has had a DS/B MCS for awhile now. Folks in the Charlotte, NC area have seen him out and about in it. Don't know if he's mod'd it yet but that's to be expected.

Jamie Hacking, (check this link) AMA Formula Xtreme and AMA U.S. Supersport rider also is a local that owns a EB/W MCS, heavily mod'd and nicely finished

The car is a performance machine so it's only logical that it draws from the race crowd some of it's owners.

I think one of the ~60 dealerships Hendrick owns is East Bay Mini and BMW in Pleasanton, CA. I've heard this is the best Mini dealerships in the area.

Here's one for ya!

The guy who owns the whole complex of delears with high-end cars (including the MINI), is legendary and the one-and-only Roger Penske! http://www.penske.com/

This is where I bought my MINI from. MINI North Scottsdale.

If someone told me Colin McRae, Jenson Button or Michael Schumacher drove a MINI; I would think they have great taste in cars. But an ASSCAR owner - don't think so. No twisty in ASSCAR.

NASCAR is the most boring form of auto racing, I dont see why so many people like it. It must be the crashes. All they do is go in a circle, a monkey could do that!

I'm not a big oval track fan. I can't fathom the spectator's interest other than the imminent catastrophe hanging over the event. I must give credit to the drivers though as it is a very demanding race physically and the risks are astronomical at those speeds. But give me a road course with some elevation changes any day!

Does it count if I know the MMA who gave Ryan his test drive?
