broken suspension bearing... part number?

i,
im in the middle of changing the springs on my mini, and i've discovered that a part is broken (functioning, but cracked) and id like to replace it but cant find the part number/name on realoem.
the part it self seems to be a ring shaped bearing, the middle bit can spin independently of the outer bit.
If you go to http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...95&hg=31&fg=10 the part in question seems to lie underneath the "guide support" and above the upper spring plate (ie. between parts 1 and 8).... for some funny reason they have not displayed any of the parts underneath the "guide support" (there are a couple of other things under there!)

cheers
jono

Have you asked your dealer? They could at least give you the part cost.

wasnt making any noises at all, steering has been fine.
i just so happened to see that it was cracked when i was putting in my eibach springs and thought i should replace it before something actually goes wrong.

i've tried ringing up my dealer, but theyre not very helpful, as its not on the diagram they dun seem to want to help....

currently i've put it back in so i can drive around. guess i'll take it apart and go into bmw and ask them to find out what it is!

There are no parts missing from the referenced diagram. The part you photographed should have been contained within the bearing assembly of part #1 guide support. The repair is simple, replace part #1. Reassemble as shown in the diagram. If you look at the bottom of the guide support, you should see where the bearing is supposed to be.
