This is for an R56. I'm in the U.S.

Tire Rack says that the silver 18" Ultraleggera has been discontinued. I'm not that sold on that piece of information since it seems odd that they would continue producing the all black version but not the silver version.
I went to the OZ site and searched for a MINI and they show an 18" in crystal titanium for MINIs produced from 2002 to 3/07. They are available in ET38 and ET42.

Does anyone know any shops in the U.S. that sell OZ wheels?

I googled it and came away fairly empty handed.

I have asked and also been looking for these same wheels. No local (sate side) shop seems to carry them. There was even a Canadian shop I had asked and they did not have any.

I asked OZ sales directly by email and they just forwarded my email to Tire Rack.

I want the Ultraleggera's in 18" silver, not black. Makes the wheels blend with the pavement and car too much (all AB).

 

Tirerack IS OZ North America, since OZ Miami closed its doors.

I know what OZ's site shows - if they still made them in silver we'd offer it.

Are there ANY other color options for these besides black?

Is the black a matte color or is it glossy? Every time I think about the black version of these rims I want to hunt down a set of silver. If the black is matte then it would match the plastic more. Just not sure I want black rims though when I have seen the silver version on an AB MINI and they look perfect to me.

 

So buy the black ones and get them powdercoated silver...

 

Would rather get the color at purchase rather than adding however much it is to get them colored what I am looking for.

I have thought of the changing color after purchase but it would take more time before I could get them on the car.

Please bring back the silver 18" Ultraleggera. OZ makes them for a bunch of other cars so it shouldn't be much of a burden to offer it for MINIs.


I don't want to add approx. $150 each to the cost of new wheels to get them to a standard colour that is offered throughout OZ's product range.

 

Your best bet is to shop around and see if any dealers have any left in stock...
