FWIW, those look exactly the same as the ones that Helix is selling for $295. JCW injectors are 380cc. Helix also sells another 380cc injector for $260. You can see their pitches for that item AND for the JCWs here (scroll down to see them):

I bought a set of JCWs from Helix many months ago, and they have worked fine.

You might also check out the JSC Speed web site. They have great prices sometimes. I just tried to check their page, and it is down at the moment for some reason. I have bought stuff from them before, also, and they shipped everything quickly and "as-promised". They are (usually) at:

Otherwise, it looks to as though $250 is a good price on the JCWs, short of a fire sale. (Of course, you always have to watch out for "shipping and handling" when you compare on-line costs)

ininmini I see you have the helix SSK, I heard some people complaining about heat coming out after doing the upgrade...did you experience it????

 

Yes, I can tell that the shifter stalk does get warm now. To be honest, I never even noticed it until Herbie wrote about it here, so it's not really a problem for me. But then again I drive the Mini mostly on back roads, very little stop-and-go traffic.

 

Do you think is this a worthy upgrade???

 

Going back to the JCW injectors...I was about to buy at Helix but they have just gone up from $ 260 to 290.
Any of you know were I can get them for less money than that??????
