sounds like i might need to go spend some hours on the car and come out there! brakes took a huge beating last weekend at the autobahn country club. so i guess as long as i find time to get the car ready ill be showing up! hopefully sun will be in the forcast as rain is no fun.

Great Day, Evan with a 230 HP at the Wheels "S" came and so did Joy and Pat with a "Checker" S. Like always WCMC ran a great event, weather was great too. Evan's best was 52 and change and mine was 54.5. Fasted run of the day was only 50 and change.

The course was MINI Made, started in slalom, get to 2nd gear and throttle steer the rest of the time, really never needed the brakes till the stop box.

Fast and Fun For All.

FYI anyone thinking about getting a set of "racing" tires for auto X's, DO IT! I found a used set of Hoosier A3's on wheels for $275. The traction is endless and took 3 or 4 sec off my time. If you want to play and really know what your MINI does surf high and low for a set and let the fun begin. Best MOD I ever put on my MINI.

 

man, was today great or what?!! no one could have asked for better weather and the breeze kept it from being too hot out!

the course set up was a lot of fun! and my first gear took a beating today. glad to meet you dustin and hopefully i can make the cruise on the 28th!

by the way, thanks for getting me addicted to the carbon fiber hood. i cant get it out of my head. haha
