I know you've got experience with the 1.8T engine so I was wondering if you could point me in the direction of where I should look for tuning my new 2003 1.8T A4? I know the engine is capable of some sick stuff, so I'm eager to learn more.

What would be the best, first mods to do? Chip?

Buy a European Car mag and check the aftermarket stuff. That is probably the easiest thing to do. That way you can get a hold of companies, and they will lead you in he right direction.

Actually, I'm with rotarycoach... What is the point of posting about your Audi here? This is NOT the appropriate place. It's like shouting to the world "Gee, look how cool I am, I got a Audi A4!". I could care less...

Now, if you got the JCW installed on your MINI, that would be another story...

Hmm...you both have points. But I guess a PM is best if you think he wouldn't see the offtopic. Other than the offtopic category, this is a site all about MINIs no? The next thing you know we could have a thread about coffee can exhausts for their honda! Seriously, though, where would it end? Are Audis ok and Hondas not?

Yeah, this is off topic... If Andy doesn't read off topic, send him a PM, I'm sure he reads those.

Let me ask everyone a question...WHO THE HELL CARES?!?!? If you don't want to read about the Audi A4...then don't click on the damn thread. That simple. I am not trying to make enemies or anything, but you guys are arguing over the stupidest thing.

DaveBret,

I'm sending you a PM with Audi info. I agree with the others who say a topic like this doesn't belong in Performance Modifications. I run some discussion groups with hundreds of members and the discussion gets out of hand fast if off-topic posts are allowed. No biggie and congrats on the new car!
