BBS LM reps that FIT

There have been countless threads about this....so i figured i should give you guys the heads up. It looks as if Maxxim (Konig division) will be producing BBS LM reps in 4x100 bolt pattern. They aren't officially released yet...but someone already posted up pics of a set (in 16's).

The only info i found was this for-sale thread....but they already offer some BBS reps and it isn't uncommon for them to start selling them before officially announcing them on their site.

http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=3392231

I don't know the seller in any way, and I'm not trying to promote a sale.....it's just where i found the info.

Replicas are still replicas though

Hello,

I know where to get them

It is a wheel made by Konig
This wheel is offered in 16" only, 4x100, 35 offset 9not sure if it works on the mini)

It is available with the centers in the following colors (black, silver or gold)

Price $170/wheel

Please let me know if you have any questions

hahah yah i know...i posted that they're a konig product (it says that above)

My guess is that most konig distributors will be able to get it for anyone interested if not this month....next month.

Interesting to hear that it's 16's only, i was sure they would do 17s too. Hmmph

Anyways...seeing as they are 16x7.5 et35, rubbing will be something to watch out for. That is pushed out close to the fenders. It's nothing a proper tire size and a little camber couldn't fix though.

170 sounds like a lot for a replica...wow

Volk Time Attack replicas in 16" from Konig cost about $500, for comparison

Ehh not sure how I feel about those replicas.. those centers aren't convincing me.. Not to mention 16" LMs are way too small.. 18s FTW

Most likely....that's about average for a 16 made by the replica companies

Wow. I absolutely love these. They look just like the BBS race wheels.

I wish they would make them in a 17....

LMAOOO

BTW, mcneil, you need to scroll up and look at pics of the real BBS LM's. They actually look nothing like the real ones. By far the worst looking replica I've seen.

LM's are so sick, too bad they're like $2,500 for the set, without tires...

if the spokes were flatten, it would be a decent rep. however, since the spokes are all bulging out and crap, it would be better off to call it a bbs racing wheel replica..

$170 a pop is a little high for konigs my konig heliums (ce28 reps) were cheap and light. i hope these are at least on the light side to balance out the boosted price

170 is just what mini works quoted....he appears to be wrong as you can get a set new on ebay for 500

No, he's prolly right, with HIS price. I don't recall MINI Works ever being on the cheap side price wise

I dunno, he gave me a great deal on a set of Koni coil-overs, far below anyone else

Actually (cough, cough) I don't care for the LM's. But, there are many more BBS wheels that I do like. I think it would be super cool if the wheels on my Mini matched the BBS wheels on my race car. Old picture when the wheels were new...
