Clearbra installation site in the area?

Was wondering if anyone in REME has had a clearbra installation in recent years and can point me to a good place. I live in Sacramento, so obviously, closer is better.

This is not intended to start another debate over whether or not a clearbra is worth the money, etc. We all know that conversation has been thoroughly explored elsewhere on NAM. Just want to know where I can get one done well and for what price...

Thanks in advance.

Wondermini,

I know that Santa Rosa is quite a distance from Sacramento, but I had my clear bra installed at "A Shade Darker" in Santa Rosa. They did a gret job and as far as I can tell the price was very fair. I recommend them highly. You might want to make this post on the REME MegaBBS forums page as well to be sure to get exposure to all the Sac Valley REME members.

Good Luck,

Norm

I'll do that, thank you. If I can't find anything else I trust, I might just make that trek out to Santa Rosa...

Thanks again.

Grats on the new PW/B wondermini! While I don't have any pointers on the Clearbra installation I will see you on the REME boards and hopefully around town in Sacto.

Robcerno on REME...

Hey thanks for the welcome! I think I'll wait to go on any REME runs until I have the clearbra installed. I'm wary--I have two chips in <2wks already.

I will! Thanks...another question for you: did you have the stripes put on over or under the clearbra?

Wonder,
Welcome to the REME NAM Board. I encourage you to visit the REME MegaBBS. We have a lot more vistors there and many from the Sacramento area.

To answer your question, the clear bra is generally installed over the vinyl stripes.

Hey Wonder,
I used JC Graphics in Vacaville. Excellent work (IMO) and very reasonable. I had them put on a full custom clearbra for my car. I paid around $525 but it included all the pattern making, computer design and cutting, installation. They even put the material inside the wheelwell and front of rear fender flares. I have the Orciari Evoluzione wide body kit so you can get an idea of the complexity.
