Posting this in the Chicago section instead of the For Sale section since I would prefer to deal with a local person.

I'm looking for something I can run in the winter time in a 15" or 16" wheel with all seasons (or snow tires if you happen to have them mounted) with at least 60%+ tread remaining (snow worthy, in other words!).

The SLites are equipped with the OEM Pirelli Eufori@ Runflat ( http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....odel=eufori%40 ) tires in 205/45/17 with approximately 60%+ tread life (see Lincoln's head for reference). The tires go for an astronomical $200 each at Tire Rack when new... The wheels have a minor amount of brake dust caked in the corners and a few scratches from the previous owner, but have no curb rash and are in overall good shape and appearance. They are balanced correctly (no vibrations at any speeds) and are not bent or cracked. I may end up painting them Graphite and then trying to sell/trade them if nobody wants them "as is".

Anyway, if anyone is looking to ditch their 15" or 16" wheels & tires that are in decent condition and get their hands on some 17"s, this is a great opportunity to do so for no cost and little hassle. Let me know what you got! Thanks for looking!

 

I have some 16's with pretty new tires. Very nice condition. Let me know if your interested. Are the runflats all season?

I see they are not. I need something all season since I just bought the all seasons on my 16's or the wife would shoot me.

 

or if you want to take my 16" x-lites with some rimmage for $200 obo.
tires need to be replaced. PM if interested. i can bring them
out halfway. im in schaumburg.

i want to make room for a new set of wheels.

 

Pierced: Yeah, I don't know how well the Pirellis would do in the winter. If no trades come about, I may end up keeping them and finding out for myself. :D

$200 for mine (bascially bought it as spares) so this is why it would be nice
if i can get $200 back...but if not, i'll take any offer as i want to get it
out of my basement. I got 5 wheelsets down there for my cars and it's
starting to show up on the wife's proximity radar.

You need to make them into coffee tables so she won't notice them
