We will be meeting the 2nd Tuesday of Sept for our next dinner (9/11). We will be going to Red Robin Gourmet Burgers in Trussville. They have a zillion kinds of burgers, fries, onion rings, shakes, malts, & Margarita's. We'll meet around 5:30 & eat at 6PM.

Nice choice. Haven't tried the drink menu there yet, but the Burgers are Huge and the onion rings rock! And the road that surrounds the shopping center up there is like the tri-oval (fresh pavement with large turns and straightaways).
Just an observation.

The only downside is September 11th is my grandson Noah's 6th birthday. He was born 8 minutes after the 2nd tower fell. I know, kinda sad. But there is a chance my daugher will decide to have something for him another day. We'll see then.

From South of town: Exit hwy 459 at hwy 11. turn right, get in the LH lane. At the Home Depot on Gadsden hwy (11), take a L. Middle or L lane (uncertain) takes you up the sweeping hill, then down the backstretch. Red Robin is on your R.

Sorry I missed it. Being it was 9/11 I would not have been good company. This is a somber and memorial day for me. Spent it with family.

You didn't miss anything. A/C was in overdrive - colder than a well-digger's butt in there, overpriced burgers, mediocre Margaritas.
