At long last, three months of waiting and I finally took delivery on Demi today. Here is a link to my photo album and here are a few select pictures from it.

I can't thank Dan from Rasmussen Mini enough. He made the experience exceptional for us. I would highly recommend him and Rasmussen to anyone looking for a Mini in the Pacific Northwest.

btw: I love your wife's "Vannah" pose with Demi. I bet she's hopeful that your MOCD will subside a bit. I hope it does, but I also hope that you don't just drop of the face of NAM.

So, a family that motors to gether stays together, is that right? (well after the photos that Tigs posted tonight that remains to be seen)

 

OMGoodness!!! WOOOOOT!!! I knew it. Mike and I were all snuggly in bed...and I gave him THE look <no, not THAT look>...the other one...that said, "we gotta get up again and hit "refresh" on the website"!!!!

Thanks all, now it times to get the Sirius activated and read through the manual on the NAV. In other words, it's time to get to know Demi better .

You planning on sleeping tonight...or should Mike and I make coffee? If the contractions are really strong, we can rub your back and coach you through breathing exercises. We can boil some water too. And we have forceps, clamps, oil, grease, and brake fluid in the emergency kit.

Are you going to actually sleep or are you going to watch Cars, LoTR, and the Italian Job on your Treo whilst waiting for the clock to count down?

(By the way cutting the blue wire in the alarm clock wont make it go faster, thats just a Hollywood effect)

 

Going to try and get some sleep, big day tomorrow. Worst case, I'll put on Cars on in my bedroom. I can continue to check NAM from my Treo as needed.

Hey SimpsonGI, guess I don't have any reason to drive out your way for photo taking lessons.

Excellent MINI, she looks great at the dealership. With another MINI on the way in your family, you will have to provide tracking and hand-holding for your mother-in-law. That is neat!

Congratulations, get some sleep time between setting the options, radio and checking out all the neat things on Demi.

Remember to get some good motoring pictures this weekend. We do expect a full report. Only 1200 miles til she is ready to rip and roar.
