I picked up my MCSCa today. After much deliberation and search, I found 2006 with all four option packages, leather, rear foglight, and 2 piece wheels. I drove it home to SF over the Bay Bridge and found it surprisingly stable and solid. I assumed the lease with 23 month remaining. Here is a picture from the previous owner (leasee). I will try to take some additional shots.

Thanks all. I need some advice on a couple of visual mods:

1) Should I paint the mirrors Chili Red? I think I can buy an extra pair of caps and have them repainted.

2) Should I get the JCW leather dash and downtubes with black or red stitching (especially related to painting the mirrors CR)? And, if I do not change the mirrors would the red stitching still be appropriate?

Personally, if it were me, I'd either go with a chrome kit (mirror covers, back hinge covers and grill) or I would black them out to go with the top. Red would not be too bad on the silver...but it's gonna really stick out.

 

JoeyC...not a big fan of the chrome. I have the chrome line interior and actually plan to replace the hazard and dash light surrounds with the regualr semi-gloss black as well as replace the cup holders with leather. Anyone want to trade their regular trim for chrome (hazard and light dimmer only)?

 

It's your MINI, do what you want to to it! If you don't like the outcome, change it. That's what MINIs are all about anyhow.
