Interior/Exterior how do you take out the rear tail-lights?
how do you take out the rear tail-lights?
i'm about to tint mine tonight, i think i'd rather do the tint on the lights when they are out of the car.
i'll post pics later if you guys hook me up!

If you look inside the rear side storage panels in the boot (one of them is where you towing kit is) you will see a LONG bolt coming from the rear. Undo that and the light comes out as one unit, lens, housing circuit board and all. Of course make sure to unplug before pulling the housing out.

Open the rear...2 covers with clips L & R remove
..there is a bolt(???10mm) and 2 clips holding lights.
Undo the bolt, press the clips and they are out. There is a plug
so you can work away from the car.
You may want to look at the post on tinting taillights....
not necessary to remove them.

I used a racheting box-end wrench.
