I just noticed that this feature is described on page 18 of the R56 owner's manual. Does anyone know if it actually works on the U.S.-spec cars? The reason I'm curious is that this same feature was also listed in the owner's manuals for the U.S.-bound R50/53/52 models, but to the best of my knowledge, it was never actually implemented.
It also doesn't have the asterisks by it in the manual which indicate option specific or country specific items. The personal profiles should be availabe in any Mini no matter what country it is spec'd for.
Yes it does work. I have the radio stations, and the turn signal lane change programmed. Also, the key fob remembers the setting you had the a/c on the last time you drove the car.
Just took delivery of my partner's MINI and the MA told us each fob would remember settings such as A/C, driving lights, unlock options, and other OBC settings. He also said to make sure the 2nd fob was not in the immediate area (when programming) as it would pick up the current settings. :impatient Not sure if it works yet or not!
I dont have my owners manual yet lol still at dealership. But anyhow I dont have the comfort access system so can I program it still I also dont have Auto AC.

FYI.. The manual is available in pdf format from the Owner's Lounge.
Yes, you can set it up on a US-spec car. Have my car here in Germany (ordered/delivered from the factory) and have one key fob set for Kilometers and a few other things while the other is set for MPH, gallons, etc.
