An important decision was made

MINIs can no longer be owned by anyone under age 25.

Yes, you can still get dinner tickets for MITM

as long as you have registered for the event. Keep in mind that this year, Event Registration is required in order to get a dinner reservation for either Friday or Saturday or both.

In other words, if you registered for MITM you can get dinner tix in the MITM site in NAM.

If you have not registered for the event, there will be no dinner tickets available. There will not be tickets sold at the door this year and we will not have space to make accomodations.

Just do it in NAM and you are fine.

Thanks,

JPS

Boy, Tommy, you really missed a good one! Randy installed tubos (yes, turbochargers) on EVERY MINI in attendence. 300+ HP is realy sweet! Nothing like having both a supercharger AND a turbo! As Randy says, "it's a symbiotic relationship." They each make the other go faster. After all the free installs, about all that was left was a famous, Webb Motorsports engine plate (replaces the MINI plate), good for an additional 15 HP, right out of the box. You can buy one directly from Randy and he will install it free if you mention MINI5280.

Actually, we had a good time. Some tech talk, under-the-bonnet viewing of several members' cars, pizza, 5280 info and more. Randy told lots of interesting (and true) stories about his experiences with MINIs, racing, 5280, Yalla Yalla, useful MINI-related trivia (really!). It was fun and we finally left, with big smiles, around 9:30. See (and hear) Randy at MITM.

Oh, one more thing. I thought it might be you passing by in one of several freight and coal trains passing by the WMS shop, only about 50 yds away. Next time honk, will you?

(Randy showed and explained a turbo/supercharger installation, currently in progress, along with all of the above).

Gosh, another free turbo ... how many more can a MINI hold? Glad I missed it!
I too have been swamped at work so didn't even get home till 9:30. Maybe next time.
