any day now. Call ask mini they have really up to date into when you talk to a person.

Or call your MA, if you see my sig you can see about how long it takes. It depends on your slot number, when the order was processed and where you are in the queue.

Miniusa gave me a date of 4 weeks past my original order date but it got pushed back and the actual first day of production for me was 5 weeks after i placed my order.

Depends on where the open allocatins fall. I got lucky--mine was in production 5 days after order was placed and at dlr 29 days from order date.

A friend of mine who ordered last wk from same dlr will likely be waiting 7 weeks till his MINI arrives.

Depends on where you live. Check my sig for my order date. Mine starts production on July 5th or so I'm told. aprox 60 days to start production after order.

RE: how long?

I ordered mine on June 12th and it went into production on the 18th. It finished up on the 21st, but then I had to wait 9 days for it to get on a ship! It left the UK on the 30th (this past Saturday) and is due into the Charleston, SC VDC on July 15th. From there my MA estimates a week to 10 days before it reaches my dealership in Dallas, TX.

Wow. Take home point: It's variable.

For me, I placed order on 6/16 & it went into production yest/today - 2 weeks after order. Best case scenario: finishes up by the end of the week & makes it to the dock and boards. Then, 2 weeks to east coast (hopefully Charleston w/out delay). Then prep time at the arrival point and transport to the dealer (5 days - Upstate SC). You are not much further, so the best case / average scenario is about 5 weeks if you are on the east coast. This is what my MA has been quoting as well. God (or whatever supreme being you believe in) help those on the west coast!

Hope that helps.

You'll have at least a 2 week less wait then you would on the West Coast. But yes, an MA at your dealer should be able to give you a fairly accurate guestimate as to how long it would take to get one. It depends on how long the wait list (if any) at the dealer and how many slots they are allocated each month.

When I was first inquiring in April my future MA told me they have 15 slots each month and I'd currently be looking at approximately the end of August first part of Septemeber. I placed my order on May 11th or 12th and so far he was right on the money time wise. I'm expecting to be able to pick up my MCSa the middle to late August (2nd to 3rd week of the month).

So, time frames can very drastically depending on where you live geographically, how many slots your dealer is allocated and how long any wait list might be.

If he was saying 6-8 weeks than you can probably expect it to start production within another week or so.

Have you been sent your final build sheet to sign off on yet? After I was sent mine it was about 10-14 days later that it went into production. Once they input the order from your final build sheet they should be able to give you your production order number and directions for getting logged into the Owners Lounge on Miniusa. If you've already gotten that far, you are getting real close. Good luck and keep us informed!

Have you created an account and logged into the owners lounge? The production order number should be all that you need in order to create an account.

Good, you are further along than I thought then, I believe it usually is within a couple of weeks. You could also ask your MA if they know what production week you will be in. The production week is based on the week that it should be finished being built. We are currently in week 26, with the weeks starting on Sunday. From what I've ready, it usually takes about a week from start to finish for them to be built. (Mine was started on a Tuesday with an estimated completion of Monday but it didn't get completed until Tuesday so it was a full 7 days).

I'm not very patient myself and the waiting can be excruciating but in the end it will all be worth it.

"Dame Edna" ordered Jun.11, went into production Jun.12, left Southampton on the Frisia Jun.22 and due into Charleston Jul.7.
Is that a record?

Week 28, the week is based on the completion date, the weeks run Sun-Sat. July 8th is the first day of week 28.

Congrats on starting production! (I told you it wouldn't be long )
