Not sure what you are saying. Are you saying you installed a 05 OEM crank pulley on your car? What year is your car now? I have been thinking of replacing my crank pulley for a lighter 05 and up pulley. Is this what you did?

I did this too and didn't notice too much of a difference. Only a slight difference in RPM pick-up and drop-off, keyword there being SLIGHT... Worth it though as the old ones are a POS...

Same question as Jiminni. Is this the Webb lt. wt. crank pulley or 05 OEM?

I have also been told that the 05 crank pulley is much lighter than the prior years and does work better. However I have been comtemplating in going with the 05 crank pulley simply because of the old rule, if it's not broken don't fix it.

Or maybe I'm looking at this the wrong way since the change or the fix will make the car better.

Thats what i've been wondering too. Mine seems to run fine, but have been told " lighter is better " , well I did know that but..... And I dont really want to go with the aftermarkets as they don't have the harmonic balancers.

Thanks Herbie!

The crank pulley I sent him was an '05-'06 OEM unit. None of the OEM pulleys have harmonci balancers, they use a rubber for vibration damping.

We have done over 200 lightwieght WMS crank pulleys without a single engine failure (or other major problem)!

Hope that helps,
Randy

If your engine runs, it's working. Are you saying it might be making noise?
