Hey guys my dealer gave me my production number and so I wanted to review my order details...

Should the factory ordered options show that I ordered a JCW kit because it's not displayed.

It only shows:
Black Bonnet Stipes
On-board Computer
Premium package
Roof and mirror caps in black
sport package
sport suspension

Can you tell I'm paranoid? Thanks in advance guys.

 

It can take a week or so to get all the order details right. Don't fret yet!!

 

Contact your MA - they should be able to check on the details.

 

Isn't this a dealer installed item? The dealer installed items I ordered did not show up on the list in the Owners Lounge for me (chrome exhaust tips, front and rear mud flaps). The factory aero package should show up (I think) but not the JCW (first stage or stage one). I've also heard that it can take a few days for the information to be correct in the review order status in regard to the options ordered.

 

Thanks for putting my mind at easy! I'll try to be more patient and have it be a surprise. Production of my car is complete and awaiting carrier so I'm week 26th? Anyways I'll be sure to post some pics ASAP once I get it, in the laser blue clan thread. Thanks again guys!

 

Let me clarify a bit. I ordered the JCW aero kit so is that still a dealer installed option?

 

The hypersport package is factory installed. The JCW aero kit shows up as accessories on the Miniusa page when you go to build a Mini so it would be a dealer installed item and not show up on the list of options in the Owners Lounge. You should be good to go. If it shows up in the accessories list when you go to build it, it is dealer installed.

 

Thx for the clarification. Also seeing as how it's a dealer option am I right to assume that I SHOULD also receive the stock bumpers and side skirts during pick up? I want to make sure I get everything that I should be getting.

 

That I don't know. They may or may not give you the original parts that they take off to replace with the Aero Kit. You can probably request that to keep the original parts though. I'd make the request with your dealer prior to it being delivered to them.

 

You can probably request to keep the old bumpers...Depending on the dealership..Nobody really does. Ive been selling MINIs for six years and have had three or four clients ask for bumpers back. But hey...Theyre yours!!
