Bloomberg MCS Review - "Ultimate City Car"
Check out Bloomberg's enthusiastic take on a Mini Cooper S with JCW mods.

I tested a ``mellow yellow'' Cooper S with a number of sports-minded additions from the company's tuning partner, John Cooper Works. It included aerodynamic body molding, a roof spoiler, 18-inch wheels and enhanced brakes, pushing the price almost to $30,000.
I don't think the speedo is radical enough. Instead of the needle, it should have a color-changing ball that gets bigger as speed increases, and ring a bell when it hits certain speeds. Maybe even a talking option, like "whooooaaa nelly!!" and "Yikes".
I am constantly looking at the digital display of the speed in the thumbnail sized square instead of the volleyball size speedometer.

I for one would consider the Cooper as the ultimate "city car" for it's combination of overall driveability and fuel economy..........BUT, that's around my city. It's clear from this review and comments made by esteemed NAMies from other bustling burgs, that the power of an MCS is almost required to effortlessly (and, maybe even for the sake of safety, somewhat aggressively) squirt through complex and very tricky traffic situations. Fair is fair....kudos to the MCS (and even the JCW) for this particular ranking. Richly deserved!!!!
What are you talking about? The scoop has been functional from at least week 13 production.
It should have a pinball game in the center with paddles and flashing lights.
One function is to let hot air escape when the engine has been shut off.
I'm sure "Hot Air" does escape from the holes. However, it serves no purpose that benefits the car in any appreciable way. Its like the post where one member was concerned about rain getting in through the scoop..It looks cool, and IMO thats all it does.
